The Process

How Insurance Claims Work
With Us.

1

Call Your Insurance Agent

You call your agent, report the glass damage, and tell them you want to work with Longevity Auto Glass. Most agents handle glass claims in minutes. This is the one step that needs to come from you.

2

Insurance Routes It to Us

Your carrier opens the claim and sends the authorization directly to Longevity Auto Glass. From that point on, we handle all the billing, paperwork, and back-end coordination. You're out of the loop in the best possible way.

3

We Come to You

Once the claim is confirmed, we schedule at a time and place that works for you. Home, office, or wherever your car is parked. No shop, no waiting room.

4

$0 Deductible (Usually)

For rock chip repairs, most comprehensive policies cover 100% of the cost. For replacements, you pay your deductible if you have one. We'll confirm your exact cost before we start.

Questions

Insurance FAQ

Yes, the fastest path is for you to call your agent directly, report the glass damage, and tell them you want to work with Longevity Auto Glass. Your agent opens the claim and routes the authorization to us. We handle all the billing and back-end from there. In some situations we can call your carrier with you on the line, but most insurers require the policyholder to initiate the claim. A 5-minute call from you is usually faster than routing it through a third party.
In most states, a comprehensive glass claim does not raise your rates. Glass claims are "not-at-fault" events and are generally excluded from rate calculations. However, policies vary. If you're concerned, ask your agent directly before filing. We can give you our price upfront so you can decide whether to pay out of pocket or go through insurance.
Liability-only policies do not cover glass damage. If you don't carry comprehensive coverage, you'll pay out of pocket. We'll give you a straight quote with no markup.
Glass damage from a rock or road debris is a comprehensive claim. Glass broken in a car accident you caused is a collision claim. Comprehensive deductibles are often lower or $0 for glass specifically. Collision deductibles are typically higher and may affect your rates.
Yes. We bill the insurance company directly for covered repairs. You don't pay up front and wait for reimbursement. We handle the billing on our end.
No. In most states you have the legal right to choose your own glass repair provider. Insurers may have preferred networks, but you are not legally required to use them. Your policy covers the repair regardless of who does it.
We'll tell you upfront if your coverage looks thin. If a claim is denied after we've already verified it, we'll work through it with you. We do not leave customers with unexpected bills.
